The top app on Itunes store...!

Worse Than YouTube

Everytime I wish to view a box score, I have to watch a advert video. Extremely annoying. Same with a highlight video. I just google the box score.

Cant watch live.

Unable to watch live games through this app unless you also have a cable tv subscription. Worthless.

Great app still missing a couple things

Please keep the batting practice views for the regular season next year. Wish Fox would pick it up for the World Series. Have the app for iPhone, Apple Watch, Apple TV & iPad. Best place to find out anything you need to about baseball. MLB.tv works great. The things that are missing are IN MARKET STREAMING (COME ON ROOT SPORTS) Pre & Post game (Tv &/or radio), The Rule Book would be nice. Audio Overlay & Audio archive for mobile devices, Injury update & Depth Charts on the roster page, Milestone tracker, Strike zone channel, Fantasy player tracking. Quad screen for the iPad Pro would be really nice. Google cardboard support would be really cool.

Software is fine

Instead of playing ball with this app, go to MLB.tv on the web from a computer, and then use unblock-us.com to change your location to Mexico. Youll still pay $9.99 to MLB, but then youll get to watch without requiring a cable subscription. The app is fine, but the contracts in place surrounding the app make the experience horrible. Time for these guys to do some cable cutting on the macro scale. The writing is on the wall, cable tv is dying, and were in this excruciating period of a few years where were stuck with a shoddy experience designed to try to sell us on subscription cable packages we dont want. Give it two years and well look back and laugh at their desperate attempts. I have money, and I want to spend it on your content. I dont want to buy a subscription to last centurys technology along the way.

MLB At Bat Postseason

Overall this app continues to improve year after year but they still underachieve, especially when youre counting on it. What a pile of junk this postseason audio is. Good luck listening to the World Series of you cant watch it. During the playoffs and now the Series, listening to the audio on my iPhone keeps dropping and looping back constantly. It doesnt matter what network Im connected to. I absolutely hate to pay for an app you cant count on. These guys dont get it.

Fall from grace

This app used to be amazing. But now it is painstakingly difficult to watch any highlights because of all. of. the. freaking. ads. Want to watch a 5 second highlight? You need to sit through a 15 second ad. Oh wait - did you blink and miss the highlight and want to quick rewatch - get ready to watch another ad that is 3x as long as the highlight. I literally am stopping paying for this subscription and deleting the app because Id rather miss the highlights than sit through all do their ads.

Tired of apps having bright white backgrounds

Offer in settings like Twitter has, an option for "night mode" where the background isnt bright white. Im sick of all these apps that have lame white backgrounds. The old At Bat used to have a dark background and I loved that.

Battery Drain

Huge battery drain. Takes my iPhone 7 from 100% to 33% over night without being opened due to "background audio" the app wasnt even open in the background.

Needs more support

Trying to log in MLB with Comcast or even PlayStation Vue. More local logins specially with the post season that you require your local provider.

Horrible and ad-ridden.

Used to be a solid application until they became greedy with advertisements. All this application has evolved to is banner and video advertisements. Download another app.

Buggy

You cant even watch the videos. Endless ads, terrible quality videos, and lots of glitches and bugs. Good if all you want is to check scores and stats. Terrible for highlights and videos.

Video quality is terrible

Maybe it is TMobile or maybe this app. With TMobile one plus and HD pass activated the videos play for a second at high quality then buffers then plays back in 8 bit quality. You cant tell a baseball from a rosin bag.

Frustrating rip off

No stars if I could. Completely agree w many of the low ratings. Signed up to watch the World Series. In order to do so I signed up for a series of services. A 2.99 for the app and 26.99 for post season games to be precise, only to realize, right when I was getting ready to watch, that you need credentials for a paid tv service (doesnt make sense, I guess they want to make sure your paying for the tv channel in addition to paying for this dumb app and service). If I had a tv service I wouldnt have downloaded and paid for this online service, but the info was hidden, if anywhere in the terms (havent seen it yet). I cancelled within a day and a half but of course was billed for the month. Think twice before getting this app. Id give no stars if I could.

Download now

Get to watch Cleveland win the World Series tonight.

Annoyingly rapid notifications

I say rapid not meaning when the score actually happen because usually it ok I mean 3 notification of nonsense one right after another. And way to. Any in a day. Had to shut that off. Now the app is pretty useless.

Post Season audio is awful

Had no trouble with the app during the regular season, but in the post season the audio streaming stops and starts for no apparent reason, repeats parts, leaves out parts of the commentary. Why isnt the post season even better than the regular season? This is when you should give the service away for free to get people excited about baseball and the app. Really frustrated with it right now.

MLB.Com At Bat

MLB.Com at Bat is a great resource for casual and die hard baseball fans alike. Whether you are into daily news for your team or the league in general, scores from around the league, highlight clips, statistics of some of your favorite players or just to watch games the application has something for you. The application even allows you to shop from MLB.com as well as look up other Major League Baseball related applications that cater to all segments of the sports demographics whether it be kids, teenagers or adults. The design walks a balance being filled with information yet not cumbersome and easy to navigate with category panes on the bottom of the menu to fair you where you want to go.

Great App but...

The app is great but I have one quarrel with the MLB in general. Probably not the best place to post about it but not sure where to voice my opinion. Having Joe Buck as the World Series announcer is just awful. Nothing against the man, but he doesnt seem to understand how to commentate about sports. He just waits until a lull in the action to rattle off unimportant stats and records or an attire of a specific player, instead of just calling the game. With so many talented announcers who actually do their homework about what the players are like during the year and have been doing an amazing job, why does the MLB continue to sign a contract with Fox that will but an under qualified announcer like Joe Buck on the biggest games in the sport. I know many people who decided not to watch the WS because of his announcing. Maybe Im wrong but it has to be affecting ratings. My two cents...
